Grammar Level One
Level One is an introductory grammar course written for third and fourth graders. The 100 lessons teach punctuation, capitalization, word usage and basic parts of speech. Many lessons use pictures, stories or poems to encourage children to express themselves orally and on paper. Dictation lessons throughout the book help parents evaluate their child’s progress in applying what he has learned. The “Notes to Parents” at the bottoms of pages give suggestions for teaching the lessons.

Grammar Level Two
Level Two is a foundation grammar course written for grades 5 and above. Each of the 30 weekly lessons includes a variety of activities, including sentence diagramming to help children learn parts of speech, noun functions and sentence structure. The teacher’s manual explains each lesson and give parents detailed suggestions on how to present the new material to their child. After the parent and child have worked several activities together, the child practices the lesson in the Student Workbook. A separate section at the back of the Student Workbook includes capitalization and punctuation rules with practice exercises. The teacher’s manual includes the answers to the Student Workbook.
