Arithmetic One
The Arithmetic One package includes: 20 student worksheets, 20 number cards and a 22- page teacher’s manual that helps parents introduce beginning arithmetic in the context of everyday activities. The manual covers reading, writing and understanding numbers 0-20 and an introduction to addition, subtraction, time, fractions, measurement, money and more. We have found that children succeed best in arithmetic if parents wait until after their child is reading well to begin a structured arithmetic program. Arithmetic One is designed to provide parents with simple guidelines for introducing arithmetic during the first grade when their child is concentrating on learning to read.
